NSWAGTC Explorama - School Holiday Workshops for 3-14 Year Olds - Merrylands - 2010

These workshops include a variety of different hands-on enrichment activities and provide an opportunity for children with "like minds" to work together in a fun and relaxed environment.

Wed 7 April - held at the NSWAGTC Resource Centre (Hilltop Road Public School, Hilltop Rd, Merrylands) Kids Workshops and Parent & Educator Seminar by Rhonda Filmer - Understanding Gifted Children's Social, Emotional and Educational Needs.

These hands-on workshops will expand childrens' understanding of science through observation and experimentation.

Sat 13 March - Junior Lego Robotics -session 1 - 10am to 12pm - Penrith - F-U-L-L                 please note - venue has changed to NSWAGTC Resource Office at Merrylands

Sat 13 March - Junior Lego Robotics 12.30pm to 2.30pm - Merrylands - cancelled due to low numbers.

Help for Parents of Gifted Kids  is here!

Weekend Intensive - Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 March @ Merrylands 10am to 4pm - 8 places left.

This course consists of six interactive discussion workshops, run by two facilitators experienced in working with Gifted Children, who are also parents of Gifted Children.

Session Topics: 1. About Being Gifted; 2. Living with Emotional Intensity; 3. Parenting Gifted Children; 4. Boosting Motivation; 5. Building Relationships: 6. Becoming an Advocate.
